Basketball

Do you know the difference between a basketball chair & an everyday wheelchair?

Please join us in the GFS Gym for an informal & informative look at the world of physical recreation & sport through the eyes of athletes with a physical disability.  Organized by Ranita Manocha, Year III Medical Student at UBC, “Abilities in Focus” is a showcase of photos, videos & personal stories by elite athletes.  The exhibit is the result of a passionate medical student’s PhotoVoice research project, done in coordination with B.C. Wheelchair Sport's Bridging the Gap Program.

Please see the attached poster for details!  Please contact Kim, SCI Rec Therapist @ 6261 or Holly, Program Coordinator with BC Wheelchair Sports Association at 604.333.3526.
