ICC Coaching Course - Apr 9th
The Nordic Racers Ski Club is hosting a
10 hour Intro to Community Coaching (ICC) workshop on April 9th in North
Vancouver (to be confirmed). When combined with a 16 hour classroom/on
snow workshop (the Community Coaching Workshop) and a few practical
tasks, this certifies you as a Level 1 coach in the NCCP system
(National Coaching Certification Program).
This is the minimum required for you to coach at a BC Winter Games (next BCWG is Feb 2012 at Sovereign Lakes), for example, but regardless of your coaching aspirations it's a good place to start if you are volunteering at club clinics or just coaching friends.
There is a cost for the course - approximately $80. Deadline for registration is Wednesday April 6.
