Learn to use the rowing machine that is!

 

Cross Training? Looking for a new cardio workout?

Learn to Erg is a class designed to give you a better understanding of how to use a rowing machine safely and effectively. Using proper technique, the rowing machine can give you a total body workout, and it is one of the best cardiovascular workouts you can do at the gym. Learn to Erg will give you confidence to use the rowing machine properly, and the class will teach you some workouts that you can do to amp up your cardio routine. Learn to Erg with Jody Schuurman, a local athlete who constantly challenges herself to defeat the rowing machine, including winning a 2008 National Championship for Canadian Indoor Rowing.

 

Choose from 1 of these three 1 hr workshops:

Mon July 11 or Tues July 19th or Wed Aug 10th

From 7-8 pm

In the cardio room at Meadow Park Sports Centre

$11 (CHEAP at twice the price J)

Max 6 people per workshop, so lots of coached attention per person!
