Kayaking

Our kayaking program builds your skills in a controlled and safe environment on Alta Lake and the Soo River.

The courses will provide confidence, skills and create a solid foundation that you could build on into the future.

The courses will be taught in white-water kayaks and are suited for participants who have some upper body strength and have confidence in water. The courses will be held in Whistler over three days, to immerse you within a paddling environment. You will learn skills such as paddling strokes, wet exits, rolls, ferries and eddy turns to name a few. The courses will be taught by Don Butler of Captain Holiday's Kayak Adventures in Whistler and Dave Calver of the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program.

If you are interested in a custom/1-2-1 experience please contact us for more information.

Bursary Assistance is available to attend this course. Please request a Bursary Application when applying.
