 Cross-Country Mountain Biking
 

Program Objectives:

 

* Build confidence

* Improve mountain bike skills

* Explore new trails

* Improve fitness

* Have fun!

 

Any level is welcome to participate in the mountain bike rides. Most rides will take place in the Lost Lake trail network.

 

Progress your mountain bike skills in a safe and progressive way. Have fun with your peers while encouraging one another to ride at their best. Coached by Sylvie Allen, over 10 years coaching experience.

 

Before you participate, make sure you're ready for the adventure:

 

- Please make sure your bike has a recent tune from a bike shop

- Have a waterbottle cage on the bike or bring water in a pack such as a camelback

- Dress for the weather (rain jacket or sunscreen...)

- Remove any cages on the pedals - flat pedals are recommended

- Ensure your bike has mountain bike tires on it (not slicks)

- Helmet is mandatory

- Full finger gloves are recommended
