The Whistler Adaptive Sports Program provides recreational opportunities to individuals with a disability in the Whistler Area. Our vision is to become an organization that provides year-around, recreational programs for people with disabilities that equals the reputation of the Whistler Area, as well as a center for learning and sports excellence that has a local, regional, national and international clientele.
The Whistler Adaptive Sports Program is a not-for-profit society, and a registered charity. We rely on the generosity of our partners, sponsors, private donors and many volunteer hours to provide our programs.
Please help by Sponsoring an Athlete!
The Whistler Adaptive Sports Program provides financial assistance to participants and athletes that could not otherwise afford to participate in our programs. Please make a donation to help an athlete participate in our programs.
Here's an example of what your dollars will provide:
- $70 will provide a kayaking lesson for a local athlete
- $100 will provide a ski lesson for a local athlete
- $250 will help maintain our current equipment
- $700 will help purchase adaptive snowboarding equipment
- $1000 will sponsor an athlete for the year
- $5,000 will help us purchase a mono-ski, a seat and suspension system that is mounted on a single ski for alpine skiing.
